Travel Directions to the Newcastle Church / Office

The Newcastle Church meets at 10:30 am on Sundays (except New Year's Day 2012).   All Services / Prayer Meetings take place in the same building as the Church Office. There are several options for getting to the venue, including:

1. From nearest Metro, Longbenton
2. Using 62 Stagecoach bus from city centre
3. Using 56 Arriva bus from city centre

1. Nearest Metro: Longbenton
 

1. Turn LEFT onto Chester's Avenue (same side exit if you are travelling from city centre; if you are coming from the Whitley Bay direction, cross over the footbridge)
2. Follow the road right around the bend until you reach the building on the left, at the beginning of Aydon Gardens (a 5 minute walk)

2. BUS 62 from Blackett Street, near Grey's Monument, direction Killingworth (via Morrison's, Byker):
 

1. Ask to get off at the 3rd bus-stop in Longbenton (just AFTER the Shopping Centre)
2. Walk back a few steps to the main road, West Farm Avenue.
3. Cross the road; walk to the right.
4. Take 1st left into Chesters Avenue & building is a few yards along on the right, at the beginning of Aydon Gardens

3. BUS 56 from Haymarket, direction North Shields:
 

1. Ask to get off at the 2nd bus-stop in Longbenton.
2. Cross the road; walk a few yards to your right.
3. Take 1st left turn into Chesters Avenue & building is a few yards along on the right, at the beginning of Aydon Gardens.

4. BUS nos. 350 / 351 / 18:

5. If you are driving from Four Lane Ends Metro Station, Benton:
 

1. Pass the 4 Lane Ends Metro Station on your right, on Benton Lane
2. Turn left at the first roundabout into West Farm Avenue (the main road through Longbenton - church is at far end)
3. Pass the shopping centre on your left
4. Take first left into Chesters Avenue
5. Church is on the right, a few yards along

Car Parking:

When you see the church (as above), turn right into Aydon Gardens and immediate right into Bevan Drive, to access the car park at the back of the building.
