Joy to the World
Joy to the world christmas carol service in Sunderland was a beautiful experience reminding us of the Joy which Jesus Christ brought to us at his birth thousands of years ago.
The event was attended by a wide variety of locals and they sang along to the carols and participated in the bible lessons read. The children also performed an interesting contemporary dance routine to the glory of God.
Although some have come to believe that Christmas is about Santa, the Joy to the world Carol service was correcting this notion and refocusing our attention on Jesus.
